Dry skin is awful to have! It can make you look older, give you dandruff and scaly skin, thinner skin, rough feel and can even make your skin more susceptible to infections and skin tears. If left untouched, the damage can leave bad scars and skin disorders. Therefore it is important that you moisturize your skin to prevent dry skin. The best and simple way of treating dry skin is the natural way. Medications and chemicals has untold and damaging side effects, so natural is the only way!

Here are simple and easy natural moisturizers

Coconut oil

There are many cultures such as the Maoris and the Japanese use coconut oil to moisturize their skin. It has natural anti-oxidants and anti-fungal properties which help heal and repair skin. Coconut oil is also used as a natural sunscreen, so it has an added bonus of protecting you from harmful UV rays and skin disorders. Many famous brand moisturizers such as Revlon actually have coconut oil as their main ingredient.

Grinded Cucumber paste

Cucumber is easily one of the best natural moisturizer available. Easily obtainable from your local supermarket, if you put one whole cucumber and water in a mixer and make it into a paste. You can rub the cucumber paste onto your skin and acts like a moisturizer. It'll give your skin a cool but moist feeling to it, but works by bringing the blood towards the skin which helps nutrient the skin. Cucumber also has many anti-oxidants which encourage the skin to repair itself.

Banana mixed with Papaya seeds

If you mix both banana and papaya seeds together in a mixer, they act as powerful moisturizers. They have many antioxidants, anti-viral and anti-fungal properties and works by opening the pores of your skin and which allows water to be absorbed in the skin. If you have severe dry skin, especially around the face, you can put the mixed banana and papaya seed and paste it around your face. Then cover your face with several banana leafs. This will allow your skin to absorb water and nutrients into your skin faster - removing all the dry skin.
