How to detoxify liver?
Keep away from junk foods, alcohol and other foods which exert stress on liver. Try to consume more natural foods than processed foods. Drink plenty of water instead of soft drinks. Include lots of green vegetables and fruits in diet.

The liver can be detoxified with herbs. Turmeric is known for its liver detoxifying properties. Ayurveda acharyas recommend turmeric in liver disorders like jaundice. Here is a simple liver detoxification method which can be done at home using turmeric.
Boil a pinch of turmeric in a cup of water. Allow it cool. Add one tea spoon of honey and a ½ tea spoon of lemon juice. Drink this in empty stomach three times daily. This process not only detoxifies liver but also helps in weight reduction.
Eat a whole lot of green vegetables. Include green leafy vegetables like lettuce and cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower in diet. Avoid saturated fats and refined flours.
Add garlic in your daily recipes. Garlic helps to detoxify liver and reduce inflammation of cells. Garlic helps the liver produce essential enzymes which play an important role in detoxifying the blood.
Adopt juice fasting once in 15 days. Drink plenty of fresh fruit juice with a dash of lemon. Lemon is the best detoxifying agent. A glass of warm water with a tea spoon of lemon juice squeezed into it each morning should be enough to have a positive impact.
Drink green tea twice or three times in a day. Green tea has plenty of antioxidants and lowers the risks of liver diseases.
