Virgin Coconut Oil versus Refined Coconut Oil

The second method involved derivation of virgin coconut oil from dried coconut meat through the wet-milling process. Refined coconut oil

However, it is commonly used in cosmetics and cooking but does not taste like coconut oil.

Both virgin and refined coconut oil are certified non-GMO and organic to contain 63% and 50% MCT and lauric acid respectively. However, while virgin coconut oil is characterized to be made from fresh coconut, heat up at 3500F, with scent and sweet flavor, the refined coconut oil is made from dried coconut, heat up at 4000F, and has neutral scent and taste.
