Aged roots of vetiver grass are soaked in water for oil extraction. Vetiver is highly praised by Ayurveda acharyas for its soothing fragrance and cooling properties. Vetiver grass is used to make mats to practice yoga and meditation. In India few roots (thoroughly cleaned)  of this grass are soaked in drinking water to reduce body heat.

  8. Use extreme caution when applying oils topically for allergic or autoimmune conditions.
  9. Do a 2-days patch test for even the gentlest essential oils before using them generally.
